As the painting arrives stretched on stretcher bars – you hang the painting on that wooden bar (no need wire). 2-3 nails in the wall will be enough. Because I use oil paint (and not acrylic). Oil needs time to get dry in fresh air as the paint is oil based (as opposed to acrylic that is based on water). Also I use thick layers of paint in my painting (impasto style) so it need more time.
