Thick masonite board backing, with sculpted copper or other metal bands used to create distinct areas filled in with different colored pieces of broken ceramic tile. Wire at back for wall hanging. Unmarked, unsigned, no labels or tags. Uncertain of artisan, exact age, provenance – likely 1950s-60s, in the manner of Evelyn Ackerman and other artists of the era. In VG vintage condition with a few losses, as pictured, surface dirt, a warm dark patina to the metal surfaces. Measures approximately 36.50 inches tall, 12.50 inches wide, and a little over 1/2 inch thick. Weighs approximately 8.50 lbs. Will weigh between 14 and 15 lbs packaged. More pics upon request.
